The Pointers arrived in Nigeria on July 18, 2007, and want you to be a part of their support team
as they minister within the missionary community and "serve the servants." The 120 families currently serving in the Jos area of Plateau State have been eagerly awaiting their arrival and unique contribution
to ministry efforts there.
Jason is the senior teaching pastor for the missionaries. A former professional radio announcer and writer turned seminary-trained and ordained pastor, he brings a dynamic and thoughtful teaching ministry as a master communicator. He also will serve as chaplain and head of the Bible department at the Hillcrest School, where most of the missionary children attend. As a former children's pastor and youth leader, Jason understands the needs of children and how to connect, teach, lead and help then grow closer to the Father's heart.
Cindy is an award-winning educator with expertise in staff development, program management and curriculum writing. She will be coming alongside the Hillcrest faculty as a classroom teacher with 21 years of experience at public and private schools as well as the university level. As a "lifelong learner" she has training and certification is many areas, including outdoor education, brain-based learning, differentiated learning, learning styles, multiple intelligence's, assessing student strength and need, challenged learners and gifted/talented learners. 
Together, Jason and Cindy bring a strong marriage builders ministry and seek to strengthen the vital relationship between husband and wife. Through workshop-style seminars and couples counseling, the Pointers have helped scores of couples grow closer together, and closer to God.
